I proposed a public intervention for a rails-to-trail initiative, that helped communicate the history of that location.
Worked on a brief to make designs in a public space that represents he history of the location.
I began by taking photos of the location, researching the land's history, and sketching initial concepts. Afterwards, I created personas of users that frequent the location most to help better understand what designs would best suit the space
Made a railroad that stretches certain lengths of the trail and train crossings at junctures to show the trail once being a railroad in the past.
I also designed a simple mobile concept that gives historical facts and information as people walk along the trail.
Designed a finalized brief showing the information of the trail and the process of creating the designs.
